Ruth was cured of the eczema she had suffered from for 15 years.
No more red, swollen hands with yellow inflammation under the nails.
She does not know how it has worked, but being so desperate because she could not use her hands for anything due to a severe eczema, Ruth tried a miracle spray invented by an alternative therapist. This changed her life, and Ruth has no doubts that she is the happiest woman in Hundested.
"When you feel as miserable as I did for 15 years, you are ready to try anything". With this thought in her mind, Ruth last year gladly accepted the offer from an alternative therapist to treat her hands for eczema and inflammation with a fluid that the therapist had invented himself. This fluid was ostensibly filled with energy and was able to cure ill cells.
At that time, it did of course sound rather fantastic to Ruth that “normal” water in an atomizer could cure the worst case of eczema on the hand she had ever seen, and which several doctors had not been able to cure for more than 15 years.
Today, however, Ruth describes herself as the luckiest and happiest woman in Hundested. For the last year, her hands have been so good that she has regained her active life back. "Now, I can again do what I have not been able to do for years. I can clean, cook, work in the garden, help my three children with babysitting, and in their jobs. Actually, I am now so active that everyone in Hundested, where I was born, has noticed the difference. I am simply a new person, and honestly I do not care how it happened, says 62-year-old Ruth Severinsen.
Dry hands
The first time Ruth suffered from the eczema was at the beginning of the 1960’s, when her first-born daughter was small. "I remember that my hands and my throat were totally dry. So, I contacted the Finsen Instituttet, where I was tested for allergy. The tests, however, did not show anything. Instead, I got prescriptions for various hormone creams to apply to the affected areas. The effect was small, though, and I later heard that repeated treatments with hormone creams make the skin thinner and thinner, so it will eventually crack", says Ruth, who was then able to live a normal life despite her eczema.
Well over 15 years ago, Ruth’s eczema came back with such a force that her life turned into a nightmare. "As a cleaning lady at a school, my hands have been in contact with harsh liquids. I did try to avoid this by using rubber gloves, and the school provided me with special cleaning tools so that I did not have to touch the liquids with my hands - all with no effect. My husband Bent, a pensioner, often had to come with me to do all the hard work. I cannot believe he did it. He is fantastic", Ruth smiles gratefully.
Bent also had to do most of the work at home. He prepared many meals for Ruth. He vacuumed whilst Ruth sat in the chair watching television and drove Bent crazy by peeling her hands. The garden of the house, which Ruth had taken over from her parents, was also attended to by her husband. He only refused to do the bathroom, the laundry and the gravy for Christmas Eve!
"It is difficult to imagine that your hands can be so badly affected as mine were. But actually they did not look like hands. They looked more like big, red sausages with yellow inflammation under the nails. I have twice had to cut my rings off because the fingers were too swollen. At the same time, the hands were so itchy and sweaty I was not able to think of anything else for 5 years", says Ruth, who wore white gloves whenever she went to town.
Stopped on the street
Through the years, Ruth naturally contacted several doctors and specialists
